Shafoot

 1 Green Pepper
 2 Jalapeños
 2 Garlic Cloves
 1 Bunch of Cilantro
  tsp Cumin
 1 pinch Salt
 ½ cup Milk
 ½ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
 Diced tomatoes
 Pomegranate seeds
 Lemon wedges
 Fresh Mint Leaves [chopped]

Add the garlic to a food processor and pulse until finely minced. Seed the jalapeño, leaving a few if you like a bit of heat. Then add the jalapeño and green pepper and pulse again until well chopped.

Add the cumin, cilantro, and a pinch of salt. Blend until well combined and all ingredients are finely ground.

In a medium bowl combine the milk and yogurt. Whisk together until all of the yogurt clumps are incorporated.

Add 3-4 Tablespoons of the pepper mixture. Taste and continue to add until you reach your desired level of heat.

Place a piece of sourdough bread on a plate or in a bowl and then pour some of the mint green colored yogurt/milk mixture over the top. Set it aside and let it absorb the flavor for a few minutes before eating.

Top with diced tomatoes. Add pomegranate seeds, lemon, and freshly chopped mint for additional pops of flavor!
